Cellaring
Tips
Humidity - relative humidity 50% ~ 70% is ideal. Dry or too damp will spoil the cork Light - Long exposure to light will deteriate the wine Temperature - A constant temperature of 12 ~ 15 C is good for aging the wine Corks - Good quality corks reduce the problem of leakage and oxidation Odors - Wine should be kept away from paints, gas and bad smell stuff Leave the bottles up-right for a week to allow the cork to set in place, ensuring a proper seal, then store the bottles on their sides so as to keep the cork moist. |
