Frequently Asked Questions

How long should I age my wine?

Most wine will improve in about three months and continue to improve over time. However, storage conditions such as temperature, quality of cork, humidity and light will affect the length of aging. Full body red wine require longer aging time than white wine.

Why there are some fine sediments on the inner side of the bottle after aging for a while?

It is normal for wines particularly high-end full bodied reds to shed some tanin during aging

Why sometimes there are tiny crystals left in the bottle?

Grapes naturally contain tartaric acid, postassium or calcium ions. These ions reacts to form calcium or potassium bitartrates under cold condition. These tartrates sometimes referred to as Wine diamonds / crystals which are neither harmful nor spoiling the wine. It is a sign of quality. If the crystals take away the eye appeal of the wine, we recommend you to decant your wine before serving
